James Bryan Creech Cabin Restoration

Back in 1976, James Bryan Creech, a local historian, carpenter, and school teacher took on the challenge to relocate and restore his great grandparents’ log cabin home, built in 1845 by Henry Wright Strickland.

Decades later, the cabin was in dire condition once again. The Four Oaks Area History Foundation took on the challenge of rescuing and restoring this important piece of Four Oaks area history, before it was too late.
